Winchester Peregrines.

Technology aint so bad, is it.
Been watching a webcam of the peregrine falcons nesting on Winchester Cathedral for about two months now. They hatched at the end of April and in this last week, they have left the nest and are popping up all over the cathedral roofs.

Today I popped down to see them.  All four chicks and both parents put on a show for all that 'congregated' below to watch. (see what I did there).  The screaming of the chicks gave their position away, but it was great to see every day folk looking up and there is definitely a fondness for the city's newly hatched stars.
Winchester was covered in feathers as the female brought in pigeons and plucked them up above.
If you're local, get down there for a look.  It's a great site and sight.

I took nearly 500 pics. With the new camera, a I actually have a lot more keepers too, so, to pick some faves..  very hard.  Here are a few.  Click on the pics to enlarge, cheers.
